We’re serious about the music. We want to be the next great music club for the serious music fans of Houston. Lately Houston has become known as a live music desert. Bands often pass by Houston in search of more rewarding gigs with responsive audiences in Austin, New Orleans, Dallas and even Beaumont which now has Antone's, often only thinking of Houston as a place for a pit stop.
We want to become a haven for these many bands. And maybe bring back some performers, old Houston Favorites that have not graced a local stage in some time. We have the right place to do it.
The building at 4216 Washington Avenue has long been known as a great room for live music performances.
Patrons have enjoyed music of all kinds at this location. Country, alt-country, pop, rock, blues, metal, rockabilly and alternative/indie acts have all performed here during the various incarnations of the club over the years . The full service bar offers both bottled and draft beer along with the most popular liquors to satisfy most anyone's thirst. Our friendly and qualified bartenders are always ready and able to suggest and prepare drinks to your liking.
There is also a bar on the patio out back so that you do not need to fight the crowd every few minutes to refresh your drink. If you want to get away from the music for a while this large back patio is the perfect place for making conversation in a more relaxed atmosphere.
The room itself is simply laid-out with tables and chairs, extra seating at the bar and along the side and a small dance floor up front to provide the best, most intimate setting for live music performances.
